1. Let us help you here:) Free advice from women without an agenda in your life could help.
2. Search for a counselor via your health insurance plan. There should be a list of professionals that participate in your plan in your plan's book or you could call them or visit their website.
3. Call your local hospital (one that you trust) and ask them for a sliding-scale or no-fee referral for a counselor in your area.
4. Try the directory over at Psychology Today Magazine. Just google them. Their directory is pretty good. Not free though.
5. You can also try the directory over at the National Association of Social Workers and search for a licensed clinical social worker in your area. Not free though.
